It was a beautiful beach day! Blue skies, warm temps and gentle waves. I went to the beach early and went for a swim, walk and just enjoyed sitting on the beach. I was watching the children pick up the jelly fish as they washed to shore. They were the kind that have no sting so no big deal, well I went for my second swim and as I was backstroking it a jellyfish the size of a dinner plate pulled up beside me, I batted it away as the tide was washing it over me, I got out as soon as possible and that was it for my swimming today. I don't think it was the stinging kind but I wasn't taking any chances! I enjoyed a really nice dinner at the new Sushi Restaurant by Grotto's a short walk away, named Misaki.
