This morning I met a few photo friends at the Timonium Fairgrounds to photo some hot rods. The East Coast Indoor Nationals Car and Motorcycle Show is in progress now through Sunday. What a perfect venue on a rainy Saturday morning and I needed to do some shooting.
This is the largest indoor pre-1973 all American car, custom motorcycle and marketplace on the east coast. 300 of the regions finest rods, customs, antiques, muscle cars and custom motorcycles along with a large vendor area, free parking, DJ, 50/50, live auction, etc. I do have an appreciation for cars and restoration of them from an old acquaintance. In addition I had a 1977 brand new corvette that made the show circuit.....yes that's true! There were some real works of art there today and I enjoyed talking with the owners and creating some images. Too bad I could not have stayed all day, but we also had a pretty big snow event happening simultaneously and I was beckoned by Annette to go snow shooting, so I did that too. We finished around 4:30 and the headed to Franks on Belair Road for a great and well deserved spaghetti dinner! What a day shooting from 9:00am until 4:3o....Here are some of the car shots...snow shots tomorrow.......
Wow! You really made these photos pop!
