I was having a "photo jones" today as it's been a few days since I have been out shooting. Today after conducting two private lessons, I was able to get to Loch Raven, the Baltimore city watershed in Baltimore County, just as the light was turning golden and make a few shots. The days are getting shorter and there are signs of early fall color, in the vegetation. After shooting, I had a nice dinner at Sanders Corner. I enjoy dining there on the outside deck when the weather is like this, it's like being in another state but so close to the urban environs. It has a rich history dating back to the 1800's. As I processed these images, I had a feeling of really old images of rural spaces in our young America, except of course for that concrete bridge, too bad the old iron one was replaced.
