34th Street Hampden
Each year on 34th street in Hampden one whole block turns on the lights for the holidays. I had a chance to stop there yesterday before my class at Hopkins. It is a street that will definitely get your spirit moving and make you feel like a child again. From the hubcap tree to the hand crafted metal snowflakes, to the strings of lights that span the street tied to traditional Baltimore row houses, it is something to see. It is fun to listen to the comments from people who come to observe the spectacle. As the season goes on the street is crowded with visitors, but yesterday, it was easy walking around.
