Back roads in Frederick County, are dotted with abandoned buildings but most unfortunately are not accessible. The one pictured here was by the road side with access and Steve and I spent some time looking into windows on the past. This was a perfect subject for HDR, so I did some bracketed shots, and worked them into Photomatix, to get the look here.
In addition to exposure bracketing I made some compositional brackets. I must admit it is very strange looking into abandoned buildings...like where did the people go who used to live there and why did they leave their stuff, even down to a shirt hanging on a wall with a wire hanger? Funky looking but fun to shoot!
