I met several members of the Baltimore Camera Club at the Sugar Tree Inn, in Steeles Tavern, Virginia on Friday afternoon for a long weekend in the mountains. Annette and I drove together and arrived around 3:30pm. It was a hot and humid summer like day! After checking in we decided to ramble a little before our 5:00 dinner in the the Inn's lovely dining room. We headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway and turned North. After about a mile on the parkway we came to Big Spy Mountain Overlook. The clouds in the sky were awesome. We made a few images and then headed south on the parkway. Stopping briefly at another pull off with a small waterfall we made a couple more images before heading to dinner. We had a great dinner with friends and headed to bed. These are a few from the afternoon.
