Fall is Here!
After watching the weather forecast last night I decided to get up early and see what the dawn would bring. So at 6:00 I packed up my gear and headed to the beach. We had 20 MPH winds coming straight off the ocean, whipping up the waves and sea foam. But I was up so I wanted to see what was going to happen with the sky as the light changed. When you are shooting the ocean unless you have some interesting pier or rock out cropping, the Sky and the Sea are the major players in the image; at least that's how I see it. So as the morning came on and the light shifted there really never was a sunrise, although I am sure it did. The cloud bank was very thick and moving inland. As I stood by the sea a flock of geese passed high over head, definitely signalling the fall and winter seasons.
These are just a few from this morning. Its very overcast, cool and windy by the sea today! I am looking forward to watching the Ravens play Pittsburgh today!
